Happy Easter!
May the new life of the risen Christ
be with you!
We know that spring always comes with
new life after the long winter season. Under the ground, new shoots are getting
ready to burst out. Up above, the geese are returning home, and animals are
awakening from their slumber.
All these signs of life remind us of
the hope of new life. This is the joy of Easter. Whatever situation you are in,
there the hope of God is.
As we near the end of our Lenten journey,
we ready ourselves to enter the Holy Week with thankful hearts. This is a time
to get together and share our Easter joys. And in our sharing we will know that
we are not alone, God is with us always.
We
will begin our celebration
of Holy Week and, as usual, we are “walking with Christ hand in hand” with our
friends at Hope United Church and Faith Presbyterian Community Church.
